Triptych brochure
Max Miedinger (University project for the 'Applications of Typographical Design I' subject)
For this task I had to choose a typeface designer and create a triptych brochure based on the research I did
for their design work and biography. The typeface designer of my choice was the famous Swiss artist; Max Miedinger.
He was famous for creating the 'Neue Haas Grotesk' typeface that was later renamed 'Helvetica', thus the simplicity of 'Swiss design' and 'Helvetica typeface' are the two elements that my design is based on.
My design is an attempt to apply some of the rules of visual hierarchy such as; placement, size, visual weight, color, contrast, orientation and proximity.
